KHQ News Interviews WHEN

On November 2, 2023, Melinda Lee interviews domestic violence survivor from WHEN as the holidays approaches. KHQ news highlight abuse in closed doors during the holiday season to be 2.75 percent higher as the new year approaches.

Spokane County has the highest rate of domestic violence in Washington, according to a 2019 study by the Spokane Regional Domestic Violence Coalition and Providence Healthcare. That study found that one in every three women and one in ten men are victims of domestic violence.
