Yay! A New Volunteer

Cherry Goodridge graduated from dental hygiene school in 1977 and spent approximately 28 years cleaning teeth until she couldn’t take it anymore. So she quit. After leaving the dental office, she worked as a mortgage loan officer, until she retired in March 2020.

Cherry decided to look into the Cleone’s Closet Food Pantry to see if it could use her help. She says, “I'm very glad I did. Meeting, greeting and helping the people coming to the food pantry is fun and rewarding.” Cherry also assists Tracy Conant, the Director of Community Resources for WHEN.

Many Thanks!

Mark Lidbeck wanted to donate to smaller organizations that he feels are providing services that benefit the community during the pandemic. So, on January 8, he presented a donation of $500.00 from Inland Empire Mustang Club to help purchase an adequate used truck to pick up food for the pantry.

A Borrow

We are grateful to Mr. Larry Swartz of Lydig Construction in Spokane Valley, Wash., for donating a small pickup truck for us to use while we fundraise for a larger truck.
