Mable C. Dunbar, Ph.D. is Founder and President of Women's Healing and Empowerment Network (WHEN).  She has a Ph.D. in Family Mediation and an MA in Education and Counseling Psychology.

Mable is a Certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, and Clinically Certified Domestic Violence Counselor.

She is the author of “The Truth About Us”, a contributing author to “Intimate Violence”, “Peace and Healing”, “We Suffered in Silence” , and “Empowered”, and co-author of “Domestic Abuse: How Will Your Church Respond to the Crisis?.”

She has also written numerous booklets and articles on the topics of domestic violence and sexual abuse.  She travels extensively (nationally and internationally) to raise the awareness of domestic violence and sexual abuse in the Christian as well as secular communities. She also conducts educational programs to help end the intergenerational cycle of abuse.
